Hand-built misfits,
minted for the timeline.

Funky Buddies is a small-batch collection of characters, each dressed for whatever mood the internet's in today. No two buddies wear the same fit twice.

The basics

Every Buddy is built piece by piece from a shared wardrobe of hats, jackets, gear and expressions, so the collection stays recognisably one family while no two members look alike.

The set is capped on purpose: small enough that holding one still means something, big enough for a real community to grow around it.

Floor protection: buyback and burn

The mint price is the floor the collection is built to defend. If the floor price on the secondary market ever drops to half the mint price or lower, the treasury steps in: it buys Buddies directly off the floor and burns them, permanently removing them from supply until the floor recovers.

Fewer Buddies in circulation means the ones left behind are worth holding onto. This isn't a one-time promise, it's a standing rule the project follows every time the trigger is hit.

HOW IT WORKS, STEP BY STEP

1The mint price is set as the benchmark. The trigger point sits at exactly half of that.
2If the floor price on the open market slips to the trigger point or lower, the mechanism activates.
3The treasury buys a batch of Buddies straight off the floor, at whatever the lowest listings are.
4Every Buddy bought this way is sent to a burn address and gone for good. Supply only ever goes down from 1,999, never back up.
5With the weakest listings removed and supply tighter, the remaining Buddies have real room for the floor to recover.

This describes the mechanism, not a live price feed. Exact buyback amounts are decided by the treasury at the time.

Trade on OpenSea

Once minting wraps up, every Buddy becomes tradeable on the secondary market straight away. OpenSea is where the community buys, sells and tracks the floor in real time, and it's also where the buyback-and-burn purchases described above actually happen.

The collection page goes live the moment minting opens; until then, this button points to OpenSea itself so you can get familiar with how the marketplace works.
